'The Jaguars win the battle of the Wildcats'

NUNNERY Wood Jaguars Under 15s (sponsored by Rybrook MINI Worcester) deservedly handed leaders Kidderminster Lions their first Stourport Youth League defeat of the season.

They produced a superb team display in heavy conditions to win an ultra-competitive encounter 2-0.

In a well-refereed match, Jaguars dominated the first-half with their five-man midfield but were unable to break the deadlock.

Lions were well shackled by the defence of Aaron Rainbow, Oliver Wilcox, Adam Calvert and Jack Dicker.

Jaguars bagged two crucial goals in the second period through free-kicks from Sam Kenny and Dicker.
